So I was with Alistair and Rorey today after school, and it was weird because Alistair was just like dancing on this tree stump and then Rorey pushed my backpack into it and it got stuck, so I was just like SO mad, but then I came home and I phoned him(Alistair, I mean, not Rorey) And I was telling him about how yesterday on American Idol they kicked off Julia Demato, and then I was telling him about how I did my Wildcard Audition for the Talent show yesterday, and I was like, "Yeah, so now I'm in the talent show" so then he goes "So are you in the talent show?" and I'm just like, "Yes...." and he's like, "Oh sweet!" like he had only just known that I was like okay I just told you that and he's like oh. Jeez, it's like, learn to listen. And then he asked me, "What are you going to do when I'm gone?" and I was just like, "Uh....stuff? Oh wait a minute, what, do you think I'm just like gonna be miserable for like ever?" and he's like, "Sort of" and well I will be for a little while, but it's okay though, I have his phone number in Australia. And then he said that if he ever comes back he hopes he'll see me again at school or something, and then he said, "So see you in a long time." And then I asked to talk to his mom, and then I did, and I was like, "Even though I didn't really know you, I just want to say thank you, for being nice to me, and that I'm like, gonna miss you and stuff" and then she said about how hard it was to leave because of all the friends they'd made and how everyone was so nice to them. And she said that if I ever come to Australia, I've got someone to come and visit, and to look them up if I go there, and that thanks for my friendship with Alistair and Ben and Millie and everybody, and that she hopes we'll meet again sometime like if they ever come back, and she said that if I want the phone number I can go to Mr.Diekmeir because he has it, and I told her that Ben had already given it to me, and she said that was good and to phone them sometime. And I will, seriously. And I have met her before, like when she's come to pick up Alistair and today when they left in their car Millie said, "Bye Rebecca!" I can't believe she actually knew it was me, probably because Alistair told her. And Mr.Diekmeir's class had a party for Alistair and they had cake and pop and stuff so Alistair was like totally sugar-loaded and mental after school like I said, and they made him a big card, which even I signed. Sigh....he goes to Mexico tomorrow for a week and then back to Australia, but he's coming back to visit on May 15.

Okay, so I just got off the phone with Alistair, and oh my god that was SO funny!!! I asked him what he thought I wanted, and he almost said girlfriend but he stopped, and I was like "Oh my god I can't believe you think that" and he's like, "What?" and I'm like, "You think I want to be your girlfriend? Uh-uh, ya right, no way" and he's just like, "Why?" and oh my god I can't believe he said that!!! Because I know that he doesn't want me as his girlfriend which is totally okay because I just want to be his friend, right? But then I can't believe he said why!!! I mean, it's not like he's so perfect. Well, actually it is, but whatever. I mean, he's cool, that's it. Right now I'm listening to Shania Twain's Up!! Sorry I'm so wired, I'm just so happy right now because I just talked to Alistair. And he just like went all hysterical when I told him my MSN name is I HATE DUNCAN POLSON, which it is, and I suppose tomorrow I'll just go talk to him after school AGAIN. Not that I don't want to, of course. And now I'm listening to Stacie Orrico, "Stuck" LALALA HEHEHE whoa sorry I'm just like so like wired like you know? And I'm just like such a like Valleygirl, like. LOL that's SO funny!!!! "My love's a broken record that's skippin' in my head, I keep playin' yesterday, why we gots to play these games we play" sorry I'm just copying things from the song!!! LOL and Alistair thinks I'm just like totally normal which sometimes I am and sometimes I'm totally MENTAL like him LOL!!!! And Stephanie was being stupid and throwing wood in the dustbins(I'm going Harry Potter)and Alistair passed by, and I was just like, "Okay, what's his problem?" and he asked me tonight why I said that, and I was like I don't know, but he thought it was funny so it was totally OKAY!!!! And now I'm listening to Australian singer Slim Dusty with his song" Waltzing Matilda" "Up rode the squatter, mounted on his thourough-bred, up rode the troopers 1-2-3!!!!" YAY I LOVE THAT SONG!!!! Probably because it's AUSTRALIAN AND AUSSIES ROCK!!!! GO GEORGE BUSH!!! LOL!!!!"And his ghost may be heard as you're passing by that billabong, you'll come a waltzing matilda with me" The swagman's ghost I mean, not Bush. Althought that's probably what most of you would like to hear because you're all so MEAN!!!!! Ahoy!!!!!!

Oh my god I am just like SO mad!!! God, I hate Duncan Polson SO much! I normally don't insult Alistair's friends that much, but oh my god! See first, I phoned Alistair, and Millie answered the phone, and I asked to talk to Alistair, and Duncan took the phone, and he's like, "Hi Rebecca. It's Duncan" and I was just like, "Oh my god are you serious?" and he's like, "Yes. Me and Alistair are in a mind-jerking game of cards right now" and I'm just like, "Whatever" and he's just like, "Bye" and he hangs up the phone. And I'm just like, "Duncan!" but by then it was too late. So then I was so mad, but later I phoned back and talked to Millie, so then that was sort of okay. But then I asked Millie when Duncan was leaving, and she asked him, and he took the phone again, and was just like, "Hi Rebecca" and I was like, "Why did you hang up on me?" and he's like, "Because you're annoying" and I was just like, "Oh my god I can't believe you" and he's like, "And I'm going to do it again" and he did! What a pig! God, I'm SO mad. But that's okay though, because he's got concert band tomorrow and I have Choir, and we both finish at 4:30, so I can talk to him then. But I won't be mad at him, because it's not his fault the way his stupid friends act. And Cameron was chasing Millie around the house because he had eaten his Fruit Roll Up and he wanted Millie's, but she wouldn't let him have it, and so he was like trying to jump on her, and when she told me that he wanted it, he's just like, "I don't want it now okay? so just go away!" which is weird for a 4 year old to say, but whatever. And then she was all happy that he had gone away, and she was like, "Now Cameron doesn't want it, and now I can eat it all myself." Aww, that is just SO cute. But it's weird, because Alistair doesn't seem to have any memory at all. Like when I told him about how he had said about how his life had like totally changed when he came here, and he's like, "When did I say that?" and I'm like, "Uh, like, yesterday" and he's like, "Really?" Right. What is up with that? Okay, Alistair's mom likes Shania Twain, which I can understand, because so do I, but his dad likes Norah Jones, and oh my god she's SO boring. I'm listening to one of her songs right now, and it's just like some cheap jazz thing. Alistair's mom said it was country. So they are going to mexico, but at the end of next week. Which is good, because that means I still have like 5 days to talk to him and Ben and Millie and his mom. And maybe his dad.

Okay, so I was phoning Alistair like all morning, but there was no answer, so I thought they had gone to Mexico like Ben said they were going to, but then after Passions I phoned him, and I was totally not expecting anyone to answer, and his mom picked up the phone. I was just like oh my god, and then when I was talking to Alistair I like totally couldn't even breathe, and I was just like, "Oh my god I'm so sorry I don't know what's wrong with me today" and then he was watching Dragon Tales with Millie and Cameron, and I was watching Dragon Tales with myself. Sad, isn't it? And then we were both watching Arthur, but then I turned it off because I hate that show. Stupid, half human bear thing......ok, I'm good now. So then I had to explain American Idol to him, because he didn't get it. I mean, he does have a television, but he doesn't watch it that much because he has so much stuff to do. So then I told him about the final 11, which has now become the final 10, but I don't know who got kicked off tonight because I was at swimming. I bet it was either Trynece, or Charles Grigsby. They both totally suck. And when I was on the phone with Alistair, Tim was listening on the phone upstairs, and I heard him, and then I went to see what he was doing, and he picked up the phone again, and he was like, "Alistair. Alistair!" and Alistair's like, "What?" and Timothy's all like, "oh yeah, Rebecca's such a loser isn't she?" and Alistair was like, "I don't know," and I was like, "Tim's just like waiting for you to say something" and he's like, "Well what should I say" and Tim's like, "Say duh" and I was just like laughing and then I said, "Say some Australian things" and Alistair's like, "Like what? I don't know many Australian things" and Tim's like, "Crikey!" which was just SO funny. And after dinner today, Hannah's like, "Becca, you're not allowed to have Alistair while you're eating dinner" and I was just like BAH! Because I just totally don't know where that came from. And now I'm watching Franklin. Hmm....

Okay, so finally this stupid site is up again! God, I'd been wanting to write for ages, and every time I went to it, it wouldn't work! But that's okay, because now I have like tons to write about. Okay, how it started out, see, was when I was with Nick and Charlie in the library and then Charlie was on the computer, and he's like, "Hey Rebecca, you might be interested in this book, "Cooking The Australian Way" and then so later I told mum about that and she's like, "What, crocodiles and kangaroos?" and then I was just like bah! Because I totally didn't believe that, right? And then the next day I was talking to Ben, and I was like, "My mom thinks that Australian people eat kangaroos," and he's like, "Oh yeah, Kangaroos are the best!" Whoa. And he was saying about how good they were, and I was like, "ew!" because that is just like SO gross and mean. And Alistair said they eat crocodiles too, but they don't matter because they're just like, weird green snappy things. And when I was talking to his 6 year old sister, Millie, she was eating Kangaroo meat. Gross. And then I asked Alistair if they shoot the Kangaroos, and he's like, "Oh my god, don't you know anything? We use a sort of needle, you know like the kind they use for Hepetitus B shots?" Right. And a few days ago I let Alistair go into my Neopets account, because he said he could get me free food, right? And so of course I let him, and when he saw how many neopoints I had, he freaked. I mean, I only have 73, 000 in my bank account. I mean, come on. But seriously, he was like oh my god. And it turns out he couldn't get me free food because he was planning to go to the soup kitchen, and you can only go there if you have under 10 000. He has 6000 Neopoints. He also asked me why I don't have a discription of my pets, and I was like, "Why would I?" and he's like, "Because, how are people supposed to know what they're like?" and he read me one of his. He called his Neopets his petty-petties. Hmm....And so I was reading up on the latest information on the war with Iraq, and this is what the Australian Prime Minister said:"The government has authorized the chief of the Australian defence force to place the Australian forces already deployed in the Gulf Region as part of any US led coalition operation that may take place in the future," a somber Howard, flanked by two Australian flags, said in a televised address to the nation. I got that straight from www.ctv.ca. So the Aussies are sending out 2000 troops to fight the Iraqi people. My bet on how many survive? 1500. Here are two really good Australia sites: www.touradelaide.com, and www.imagesaustralia.com. The Australian National Anthem, "Advance Australia Fair", is pretty cool, and so is the song by Slim Dusty(who is like the most famous singer in Australia), "Waltzing Matilda". Oh, and I found out what Alistair's middle name is. Donald. But don't tell anyone, Jeremy(and I mean you, Lott)because he really doesn't like it. Alistair Donald Young.

Okay, so I talked to Alistair and Ben today when I got home from school, and they were both so completely PSYCHO because I guess that they both hadn't eaten but whatever. See, when Alistair first picked up the phone, he was like, "uh-oh" and I was like, "Hi," and then he's like, "HELOOOOOO" and I was just like WHOA! Because I've heard him go nuts but not THAT nuts. I mean, honestly. And so Ben was going crazy too, and Alistair was saying freak things and Ben was like shut up and so alistair goes, "Ooh, Ben likes Rebecca," and I was like bah! and then Ben was saying how stupid the phone was, and I was like, "okay, so you're insulting the telephone," and Alistair goes in the background, "ooh, Rebecca likes the telephone" Honestly. And then Alistair said that Ben called me Rachel. Bah! But I found out from Emily, who is in his class, that Alistair was acting like a freak in block F too. So he said to call him on Saturday because that's when they'll be done all their packing. They're leaving in 3 and a half weeks, which means Alistair only has 8 more school days, not including spring break. At least, that's what Ben says. And I asked Ben if he knew of Rundle mall, because I found out about that at www.touradelaide.com, and he said that it was the sweetest mall ever, other than Mayfair Mall. So we had this musical thing today at school, it was a Cinderella performance performed by the Vancouver Opera House people. It was cool, and music-like, if that's a word. Speaking of words, nobody spoke in the performance. They sang. Whatever. So I can't wait till tomorrow because then after school I can go see Alistair, but I have to make sure that I leave when his friends come. I can do that. And plus we get our report cards tomorrow. I wonder what Alistair will get? Probably all A's like last time, I expect. I shall have to ask. But Alistair really was totally mental today. And so was Ben. And American Idol comes on in 10 minutes, so I seriously have to watch it.

Okay, so Alistair has Gastro, which is what he got from Cameron and Millie, and they got it from Ben, and so now he's like on this thing called a drip which Ben said is supposed to give the fluid back to his body so that he can go to Swimming Championships or something like that. I don't know. It's just like, if you can't understand it, just ignore it. Today is Hannah's birthday. She's 3. Well, actually it's not really her real birthday until she's 4 because her birthday is on a leap year, so, that's why. Not that any of you didn't already know that, but whatever. So Sandy thinks that I like Ben. I mean, seriously. Because I like talk about him all the time at school(don't ask why) and so she's just like, "You like him" And I'm just like, "He's 9 years old" so then she goes, "Age doesn't matter to you" and I'm just like, bah. Because that is just SO dumb, I mean, just because I talk to him on the phone all the time and talk about him all the time does NOT mean that I like him. It doesn't. And so Alistair wanted me to read him this thing that Ben had told me, but I didn't want to because I thought it might be wrong, and so Alistair's like, "Read the stupid thing or I'll bash you up at school tomorrow" and I just like, "Yeah right, you could not" and he's just like, "I could. You're a girl with skinny arms. I could deck you anytime" and I'm like bah! I mean it, if he EVER tried to deck me, I'd just deck him right back! Ha! And so now I'm just talking to Gena on MSN but it's kinda boring because she's the only one on and I'm used to talking to like six people at once because I have like 42 people on msn. And so I'll probably talk to Alistair tomorrow, and if not him, then Ben. Or both. Okay, so Mr.Rogers from Mr.Rogers Neighborhood died. :'( And I love that show even though it's like for five year olds but whatever, I mean, I watch Dragon Tales too. So in that show there's like Purple Panda, and King Friday VIII, Daniel Striped Tiger, and Curious X the Owl. And then there were always those really cool trolley rides. And if Alistair reads this he's gonna think I'm like just a total freak because I watch this show and like know all the characters, but whatever. See, most of the episodes are just repeats because the final episode was aired in December 2002. Hehe, I'm smart. Well, Big Wolf On Campus comes on at 11:30 and that's like my favorite show, so I like better go. Ahoy!

Okay, so I phoned Alistair when I got home, except he wasn't there because he was at Choir, and so I just like talked to Ben for like almost an hour, and then when Alistair came home he didn't really want to talk because he was just like really mad at Mr.Diekmeir because he made him do this thing over again for like the fourth time, but then I don't really understand why, because Alistair is just like SO smart and so I can't think what he could have done wrong, but whatever. And then I thought it was just that he didn't really want to talk to me, but then Ben said that he's always like that when he's mad, and so then it was just like okay. Because he said that like when Alistair gets mad, it's like he just like gets out of the car, slams the door, and then like goes stomping around the house telling people to be quiet when they just like say one thing. Jeez, I so totally wouldn't be want to be around him when he's like that. And then so I was telling Ben about how Alistair just like never says anythings, so then he goes, "Well, he's not always like that, and if you came over for a play(as he called it), then you would see what he's really like." I wonder if that would ever be possible? Hmm....And then so the Talent Show auditions are coming up like really soon and I've already signed up, and I'm just like totally freaked out, because I'm going to be like singing, and so it's just like totally like oh my god. See, Alistair could probably go in it, but then by the time the actual talent show was on, he totally wouldn't be here, because he's just like going back to Australia at the end of March, and before that they're going to Lake Louise, and then Mexico, and it's just like they like never stay in the same place for more than like, a week, which makes me realize how little of a life I have. I mean, Alistair does Choir, Concert Band, Rugby, and Swimming. And I do Choir. That's it. I mean, what's up with that? And then Ben was saying about how when they go on trips, their mum and dad always like completely go mental over the scenery, and they just like have to stop just to like take a photo of like, a rock. These are the three best people ever: Jack Nicholson, Michael Jackson, and Simon Cowell. And then there's Alistair, but he's just like, in a totally different category.

Okay, so yesterday, I typed out this whole thing and then it didn't work and then I was just like aaarrrghhh! because I had really typed SO much. And so I guess I'll just have to tell you in all over again. So, yesterday, I was talking to Alistair and the thing is, he hadn't eaten and so when Alistair doesn't eat he is just like so totally retarded and he was upside down on his bed because he said that he thought that if he let all the blood rush to his head than it would be normal, but I seriously don't think it worked because he was like totally saying really mean things about his brother and I was just like "you are SO mean" and he's like, "I know" and then I said how Ben was way nicer(although I was seriously kidding)and so then he goes, "That's because he likes you, and he wants me to set him up on a date with you" and then I was like,"but isn't he like 9 years old?"and then he's like,"yeah, but I'm 11 and you're 12, so we're both younger than you, so you could go out with either of us" and then I was just totally like bah! because that is like the most freakish thing he has ever said but I bet next time I talk to him he probably won't even remember he said that because maybe after he's finished being mental he forgets what he's said. Or something...like that. So I called him when I got home today(we got off at like 12:20-early dismissal)but then Ben said that he was at Duncan's house for a sleepover and that Duncan was coming over to his house tomorrow so I couldn't call him till like Saturday, which is like really dumb because um...I forgot. But whatever. See, what's really cool is that Ben actually remembered my name when I phoned(well actually, he called me Grace first until he remembered that Grace was my last name not my first, but whatever, he got it right in the end)And so Jeremy Lott keeps putting bits of my blogs on his site because Dad says he's a really big fan of my site which is really cool, because it's so good to finally have someone appreciate the work that I've put into my site(well, not exactly work, but whatever)because most people just say about how dumb it is to write this whole thing on just like Alistair and stuff. But whatever, I don't care, it's cool to be able to put stuff on the internet for people to see. I have two ways of doing things, see. One is to write in my diary, and the things that arn't secret enough to write in there, I write on here!

Okay so now I'm watching American Idol and talking to Michael Lily(Mr.Lily's son) and Brian, and they're both being so dumb. And now this person named Kyla is in the conversation and I have no idea who she is but whatever. So I called Alistair but he wasn't home so I talked to his brother(Ben) for like half and hour because his brother is so much easier to talk to because he actually says stuff and so I was asking him if there were such things as Australian tree spirits because I had a dream about one and so I told him and he was saying stuff about Aboriginal Australians and stuff like that. And then he was like totally laughing hysterically because Alistair's other brother Cameron was like running around hitting people with a stick. Bah! And so he said that I could call Alistair tomorrow at like 4:30 because he would like totally be home. And so I'll just like totally have to think of things to say before hand because if I don't then when I run out of things to say I'll probably say something really stupid like, "Oh, guess what? I like Duncan." So I got two more people's phone numbers today: Shaina Kelly, whose in my class, and Laura, whose in grade 8. And I've phoned both of them already. And so Alistair goes back to Australia soon. No, I don't mean that. I mean he goes to Alberta soon to go to Lake Louise. Duh. And he said that this time he'll give me the phone number so I can call him there. But I seriously need like some sort of reminder of him. Maybe I'll ask him for a picture. Or maybe I'll just get him to leave a message on our machine. Eh, both would probably do. Okay, so I'm gonna go make some toast now, and I probably won't get back till Breaker High is on, so, like, bye. ALISTAIR YOUNG IS THE BEST!!!!!!

So finally this stupid thing works! Okay, I went to this yesterday, and typed like this whole long thing, and then when I go to publish it, it tells me that the request was too long to process or something stupid like that. And then when I tried to go back to it later, the site wouldn't work! So of course I was really mad, but whatever. I phoned Alistair, but he's not home. I should try again soon. See, he phoned on Wednesday, and I was just totally like oh my god! because he has like never phoned me before so it was just like so totally oh my god. So then I haven't called him since then, because I decided that calling him everyday was like really dumb because he would like get mad and I so totally wouldn't want that. So he's going back to Australia at like the end of March which is like really sad but I try not to think about that because it's still like two months away, so I shouldn't be sad now when I can be sad later. So I'm reading this book, from the Sweet Valley High series, called Left At The Alter, and it's so cool. It's about Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefeild, and Jessica is in love with this guy, Jeremy, who's about to get married to this girl, Sue, but then Jeremy decides he's not going to marry her, but then Sue gets this disease that her mom died from, so he decides that he has to marry her. It's kind of sad, but it's also really cool. I only started it yesterday, and I'm already like halfway through the book. We got our interims on Friday. See, interims arn't report cards, they're sort in between. And so because I did good, Mum bought me this little Gnome thing that you can put stuff in, and she let me get two videos from the video store: Holiday In The Sun(Mary-Kate and Ashley), and Merlin. The reason I got Merlin was because we're reading King Arthur stories in school, and Mum got me this King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table book, so I thought that after I watched it, I could bring it to school so Mrs.Hampton could let us watch it. So I went to Vancouver like last week and it was really cool, because I got to go to Barbaras house and Martha's house and then on Sunday me and Barbara went up to Grenfell, and I saw Salvin, and then I saw Hayden. See, me, Hayden, and Kevin have like known each other since like first grade and we have like always hated each other so me and Hayden were like yelling at each other while Barbara was like sitting far away, and it was just like totally weird. And I seriously should go now, because if I make this too long it won't "process". Bye.

Ahoy hoy! So I might be going to Vancouver tomorrow, it depends on when Timothy's coming back. I wanted to stay till Monday so I could be a visitor at Grenfell(my old school), but I don't think that's gonna work because I think that Tim's coming back on Sunday. Blah. So Teresa's boyfriend Trevor came yesterday, and he's leaving on the 9:00 ferry or something like that. He's pretty cool, even though he doesn't talk much. And Tim fixed my bike yesterday, so I can go riding with Alistair and stuff like that, even though he's probably a way better rider than me, but oh well. So I'll be staying at my best friend Barbara's house, although I'll probably go visit my other friends too. These are all my Vancouver friends: Barbara, Ashley, Katherine, and Sarah. And I'll probably go see Martha and Hannah and Gavin too, maybe. And maybe I'll even go to Grenfell, although I won't be going actually in the school, but that's okay. So I have to watch Hit List at 7:30 so I can write down the rest of the songs of the countdown. There's also this new show called So Little Time, featuring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who, unbelievably, are now 16. It's all about them being 16 and learning to drive and stuff. And then there's the ultimate best show of all time, The Simpsons. It's so cool! And so I talked to Barbara again today on MSN, so now we've basically arranged everything even though we're not exactly sure if anything is happening yet. Yup, that's us. Always making arrangments before we're sure of anything. And so now my dad's friend is over except that he's allergic to cats and we have like 6 cats so he has to stay upstairs and so we have to keep the cats all downstairs and keep the door always shut so no kitties go up there. So his name is Jeremy Lott and he's really friendly and he always says hi and cool stuff like that. And so now everyone's gone out to drive Trevor to the ferry and stuff like that so yeah. And Hit List comes in in like 5 minutes so I think I'd better go but don't worry I won't post this yet I'll wait till I'm finished watching Tv so I can tell you all about the cool and awsome music videos that they played. Okay, so I just finished watching Hit List, and they played a lot of really cool videos like Avril Lavigne, and Mandy Moore, and a1. And did you know that a1 is no longer a band anymore? It's like when Paul left the group, the rest of them decided to leave as well and so Caught In The Middle was like their last music video,(sob, sob). But I'm really gonna miss them, they were such a cool band! I even own their first CD(which I made myself on the computer). And then so after Hit List was over I went to www.ytv.com to enter the contest. I had to enter all 20 videos! That took SUCH a long time! So now everyone's home and we're deciding if Tim's going to Vancouver! Well, I must go now! Ahoy!

Happy New Year! Last night was really fun; I stayed up till like 2:30 AM! And Nana and Grandad came over on the 30th, which was pretty fun, and I also got $50! I think I might buy that new Lemony Snicket book: The Carniverous Carnival. Sounds delightful. I got the 8th one for Christmas, and I've finished it already. It's pretty awsome. It includes Violet Baudelaire's head almost being chopped off. I'm talking to Ashley again. I watched Hit List last week, and they're doing this countdown thing where last week they play hits #20-11 and this friday they'll be playing hits #10-1, and so I made a list of last weeks songs so that I wouldn't forget it, and so then on friday when they play the rest of the songs I can write them down and then enter the contest. Wow, that took a lot of explaining. So anyway, there's this new band called No Secrets, and it has like 5 girls in it: Jade, 16, Jessica, 15, Angel, 13, and umm....I can't remember the rest. Oh well. It's pretty cool. Even though 'Kids in America' isn't really their song. So Teresa's moving to Vancouver on Saturday to go to Langara College....I'm really going to miss her...hmmm. Ashley says that she might come over to Victoria for a few days and we can go to my school and shopping and biking and cool stuff like that. So it's only 19 days till Alistair comes back. I wonder if Ben T is really going to try to push him down the slopes? I don't think so. I think I will have some cake now.

Only 3 days till Christmas! I'm so excited!!! Though I still haven't done all my Christmas shopping yet. I still have to buy things for Patrick, Melissa, Hannah, Gavin, Nana, Grandad. I gave Christmas cards to all my teachers: Mrs.Hampton, Mrs.Robson, Ms.Robertson, Mrs.Norris, Mr.Levere(who gave me a hug), Mr.Tymoshuck(who gave me a hug), Mr.Diekmeir, Mrs.Kluge and Mr.Russel, and Mrs.Adams. It's a good thing that we had a free before lunch, or I wouldn't have had time to address them all. We actually got to eat lunch in our classrooms because of the activities going on after lunch. It's always fun to eat in the classroom. When I went to Mr.Diekmeir's classroom to give him his Christmas card, Mr.McNeil came in and gave a slice of cold pizza, and even though it had disgusting pineapples on it, it was still pretty good. I've never eaten cold pizza before. And then Mr.Diekmeir showed me what Alistair got him for Christmas:an official Australian boomerang. Yeah, right. Notice that every entry that make has a sentence about Alistair in it. Wonder if that means anything? Hmm....My mother demands that I inform you that the hmmm's I'm always using were her creation. Blah. And also, Mr.Diekmeir gave me two Christmas cookies. And they were even on a little plastic plate so I could carry them. And so of course that was totally awsome. We got our Christmas tree yesterday, although we haven't decorated it yet; although that's probably because we're out every five seconds Christmas shopping. One movie that I really really really want for Christmas is Mary-Kate and Ashley, "Our lips are sealed". It's a movie about how they witness a crime and then they're sent to live in a different town and everywhere they go they keep blowing their cover and then finally they're sent to live on the last place on earth:Australia. And that's all I'm telling you: If you want to know the rest you'll just have to watch it for yourself. When I was in Bootlegger today, I met this girl, she's 18 and she's just moved here from White Rock, Vancouver, and she has 3 older brothers and one younger sister. She said that she just started working there about a month and a half ago, and that she's going to go spend Christmas in Vancouver with her family. She also gave me her email. And when we were in the video game section of Toys-R-Us I saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for Playstation, which I really hope I get because now we have a playstation that my brothers just bought and it would be really fun to play. Oh, and I also got a service award on Friday. I wonder if Alistair got any awards? He got 19/25 on his math test(Mrs.Norris told me), and 74/75 on his Speaking test thing(Mr.Diekmeir told me). And since it's like 1:00 AM now, I think I'd better go to bed. Only 29 days till Alistair comes back.

Talking to best friend Ashley Machala right now...she saw my website and demanded that I write about her. Ashley has been my friend for about 5 years...she lives in Vancouver...she used to be best friends with my other best friend, but then they got in a fight and haven't been friends for two years...oh well. So she sent me a letter and I got it today...and of course I called her right after I read it, like all best friends should do...and then so of course I told her everything...Alistair, school, band, Alistair, Nick, Brian, math, and Alistair. And we were talking about me going to Vancouver to spend the part of the Christmas Holidays with her...isn't that cool! And Ben T said that he's going to Mt.Washington after Christmas and he said that he's going to push Alistair off a cliff and bring the pieces back for me. How rude! And today we got to do this thing called Readers Theatre, where it goes something like this:(surprised) Well, Hi! I didn't know you were coming to the party! And stuff like that..it's just like we have to express the emotion while saying the words...get it? Good! And my part was (hysterical grief) I didn't mean to kill her!! Why would I kill her! She's my best friend!! O, help me help me! don't you hear me! I didn't mean to kill her! And another one: (irritated) I can't believe you said such a thing! And when Mr.Lily asked who wanted to say that, Ben T goes, "This is a job for Rebecca Grace!" and of course so I say it. Mr.Lily said that my hysterical grief thing was excellent. He even came over to my later and said how excellent it was. One month and three days until Alistair comes back....hmmm.

Band Concert on Tuesday went really well, I think. Alistair is going to Mt. Washington today. Won't be able to call him until Jan 20, darn it. I think that he'll still be at school though. He said Ben Tassel gave him a CD. Said it was Eminem. Said his mum listened to it, and she hates swearing, so she got really mad. I went into Mrs.Adams's class to see if she was there, but she wasn't. There was this really mental girl in the classroom, though. When I walked in she was like "Excuse me, what are you doing in my classroom?" and I was like, "I came to see Mrs.Adams," and she's like, "No, get out of here, she doesn't allow visitors in here, get out!" And I was like, ok.... So then I left, and on my way past Mr.Diekmeier's classroom, I saw Alistair and Duncan. And then Duncan kept saying stupid things and Alistair was like laughing Australianly, and I was totally like shut up! because they were like going completely nuts and laughing hysterically, and it was all totally weird. Listening to Michelle Branch now....it's like I'm always listening to something...which I usually am. We're going to Mt.Washington in April to go skiing. I don't really know why Alistair's going up there now when there's no snow! I mean, like, come on. I was talking with an English Accent to him on the phone to him the other day, and he told me to speak in my normal voice. He said that he likes my normal voice because it's all happy and cheerful. How procabulious! He actually was at the concert on Tuesday, except the thing is that he didn't know about it until the day before. I asked him if Ms.Robertson told him about it, and he said no. But when I asked Ms.Robertson about it, she said that she did tell him about it, he probably just wasn't listening. Hmmm....I have alot of friends in Mr.Diekmeir's class though. Like Emily, and Tia, and Duncan, and Kelsie. They're all in my choir class. Got our report cards today. My marks are as follows: Language Arts:A Socials:B Math:C+ Science:B French:C(Hampton says I'm good at french but I have to participate more) Capp: A PE:B Band:C+ Not too bad. Wonder what Alistair got? Probably perfect in everything. Oh well. I shall have to ask.

Phoned Alistair a while ago....he's at swim training again for like 3 hours or something. I saw him after choir today, when he was coming out from Concert Band. He said hi. He was wearing a really nice sweater today, too. When he was walking up the parking lot of the school I saw Grace Taylor say something to him. Probably asking him more stupid questions, I suppose. God, she's so annoying. She's also very extremely nosy. She's always acting like she knows everything, and she doesn't. And she's always asking stupid questions like, "Oh, Rebecca, how can you like Alistair, he's such a loser!" And, "Oh, Alistair, how can you like Rebecca, she's such a loser!" I bet that's what she was saying to him after school. Geez, it's like mind your own stupid business, you silly little busybody. Listening to Britney Spears at the moment. Alistair doesn't like Eminem, but me and Tim do. Especially that new song, 'Lose Yourself'. That's really awsome. Band and choir concert tomorrow at 7:00. I'll probably be wearing my navy blue skirt and my white skirt. Well, gotta go, I have to do my bookcover now. Everything is so procabulious.

Talked to Alistair a while ago....his sister answered the phone again. She's so cute!!! Honestly, I have never heard a 5 year old speak with an Australian accent. I asked him why he was eating dinner at 10:20 and he said that he had just got back from a carol practice. But, anyway, that's not the point. He asked me if I wanted to come over to his house next weekend. Isn't that so cool? Eeek! And he also asked me what I wanted for Christmas! And of course I said it didn't matter. I couldn't believe that he had actually asked me! And he was telling me about his house, and his brothers, and Austalia, and other cool things. He is just like the best! I usually talk to him every day, and I sometimes see him at school in the corridors. His house is on Pheasantwood Terrace, near Broadmead, except it's really hard to find because it's located around all those other wood places, like Copswood, and Beechwood, and Sunnywood, and there's all these twisty, bouncy, windy roads that go anywhere. But oh well, I guess I'll find it somehow! Mum and Tim are out with Daisy, me and Patrick are downstairs listening to Mandy Moore, and Teresa's still in Vancouver until Monday. I always use her phone when she's at work or in Vancouver. I'm pretty sure she knows, but I'm not that sure that she cares. We have to do dance in PE tomorrow....I'm exactly sure that I like dance...I mean, sometimes it's fun, and sometimes it's not. Mrs.Hampton says that Alistair is a very good dancer...Mr.McKay says he's a good french student...and Ms.Robertson says he's a good band student....it seems he's good at everything! Which, of course, he probably is. I'll probably see him at school tomorrow in the corridors or something...I hope he says hi to me. So I found out that actually, concert band isn't playing in the concert on Tuesday...I wonder why? Oh well, I hope that he comes anyway! He's got concert band after school tomorrow, and I have choir. I still haven't decided about January, though....should I do Gymnastics or Choir? Dunno...I mean, Alistair's in Gymnastics...and plus it will probably be my only chance to learn Gymnastics without paying $50 or something...but then again...I have a lot of friends in choir too...maybe I can do both...I shall have to ask my Choir teacher about that....or maybe I could only go to Gymnastics once a week or something...I dunno...it's so procabulious...that's a word I made up...Tims word is gragarious....which is actually a word...but we only just found that out...oh well....Bulgarian Coal Mining is procabulious.

Got up about an hour ago. Phoned Alistair, but he's not home. Should call again soon. He said something really weird last night. It was 10:20 pm and he said that he had to go to dinner....hmm. Do australians normally have dinner that late? Nothing much to do, so I'm making another blog entry. Have to start on homework tonight, I suppose. Not sure what I have to do. I'm not actually sure I have to do anything...no math, no french, no LA, no SS, no Science(grrr...). Downloading Christina Aguilera song at the moment...3 seconds...2..1..YES!! Got it!! Duncan tells me that Alistairs sister is very annoying...Alistair says he's absolutely 100% right. I asked him what she does, and he gave me a whole list of reasons..such as: she throws pencils at you, she steals your computer games, she wrecks your disks, she throws tantrums, she gets in your way, anything else? Well, she's 5 years old, of course she's going to do that! Is Hannah going to be like that when she's 5? I certainly hope not. Ah, well, we shall have to wait to find out. Listening to Melanie C from spice girls right now. It's pretty cool. Lots more Christmas shopping to do. Let's see, I still have to buy presents for Patrick, Timothy, Melissa, Father, Daisy, Alistair, Ms.Robertson, Mrs.Hampton, and Mrs.Adams. Oh, and Mr.Diekmeirer too. Darn it. I mean, what do you buy for a teacher? I dunno...they've already started casting for the 3rd Harry Potter movie..I just hope that they don't find a replacement for Emma Watson. They say that Daniel Radcliffe is getting too to play the part of Harry Potter. I'd love to play Hermione, but I can't exactly fly a plane to England and audition. Hmm....me and mum saw this really weird thing yesterday on the way home from Sidney. I was singing along to the radio, looking up into the sky, when I see this silver thing the size of a seagull flying down to earth. Except it wasn't a seagull or a plane, I don't know what it was...It was going really fast, though, scary...should tell Mr.Levere about that, I should. Maybe I should even tell Alistair....hmmmm...

Just got back from Sidney. Watched lit up boats, and went Christmas shopping. Bought Teresa a little china dog from junkshop, and one of those little toys that you push down and it flops around for mum. Not sure what I should get for Patrick and Tim. Probably something video game-like for Patrick and something to do with cars for Tim. Called Alistair when I got home, but he wasn't there. Should call again soon. I still can't believe that he's from Australia. I wonder what it's like there? We have our FSA (Foundation Skills Assessment) tests in April. Mrs.Hampton says that it's pretty much just language arts and stuff, like reading and answering questions and stories. Band concert on Tuesday. Out of my mind with worry. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm playing, but what if I mess up? Oh, and on top of that, I have to sing two choir songs as well. Alistair is too good for grade 6 band, so he plays in concert band instead. Wish I was that good. I wonder, since the grade sevens get green band sweaters, and Alistair plays with grade 7 concert band but he's in grade 6, does he still get one? I shall have to ask. Listening to Michelle Branch at the moment. Her music is pretty cool, even though mum doesn't think so. Nick has gotten even more annoying over the past week. He keeps asking me if I want to go to McDonnies for some spamburgers. Oh well, at least he's not like Jaret. Jaret shut my lock again. Darn it. He shut Michael's too. So of course, Michael tries to go after him. Big mistake. He started running, and he falls down. So of course Jaret, like the stupid jerk that he is, bursts out laughing. It's just as well that Michael fell down. He's the smallest person in our class, and if he tried to hit Jaret, Jaret would break all the bones in his body. Me and Sandy are doing a play in Drama called the farmer and the tulip. I'm the tulip, and Sandy's the farmer. She digs a hole, plants me, and as the seasons go by, I grow. When I reach full height, she comes to examine me. When she leans forward, I lunge at her. Taken aback with shock, she leaps backwards. The she plucks my roots from the ground, and goes to get the rake to chop me down. When she comes back, I growl and chase after her hissing. She takes a swing at me with the rake, and misses. Another swing, and she cuts part of my stem off. Another swing, and she kills me. I crumple to the ground, and she drags me to the garbage can and chucks me away. The end. My favorite part is when I crumple to the ground. Must leave now, I hear the phone calling me.
