Okay, so finally this stupid site is up again! God, I'd been wanting to write for ages, and every time I went to it, it wouldn't work! But that's okay, because now I have like tons to write about. Okay, how it started out, see, was when I was with Nick and Charlie in the library and then Charlie was on the computer, and he's like, "Hey Rebecca, you might be interested in this book, "Cooking The Australian Way" and then so later I told mum about that and she's like, "What, crocodiles and kangaroos?" and then I was just like bah! Because I totally didn't believe that, right? And then the next day I was talking to Ben, and I was like, "My mom thinks that Australian people eat kangaroos," and he's like, "Oh yeah, Kangaroos are the best!" Whoa. And he was saying about how good they were, and I was like, "ew!" because that is just like SO gross and mean. And Alistair said they eat crocodiles too, but they don't matter because they're just like, weird green snappy things. And when I was talking to his 6 year old sister, Millie, she was eating Kangaroo meat. Gross. And then I asked Alistair if they shoot the Kangaroos, and he's like, "Oh my god, don't you know anything? We use a sort of needle, you know like the kind they use for Hepetitus B shots?" Right. And a few days ago I let Alistair go into my Neopets account, because he said he could get me free food, right? And so of course I let him, and when he saw how many neopoints I had, he freaked. I mean, I only have 73, 000 in my bank account. I mean, come on. But seriously, he was like oh my god. And it turns out he couldn't get me free food because he was planning to go to the soup kitchen, and you can only go there if you have under 10 000. He has 6000 Neopoints. He also asked me why I don't have a discription of my pets, and I was like, "Why would I?" and he's like, "Because, how are people supposed to know what they're like?" and he read me one of his. He called his Neopets his petty-petties. Hmm....And so I was reading up on the latest information on the war with Iraq, and this is what the Australian Prime Minister said:"The government has authorized the chief of the Australian defence force to place the Australian forces already deployed in the Gulf Region as part of any US led coalition operation that may take place in the future," a somber Howard, flanked by two Australian flags, said in a televised address to the nation. I got that straight from www.ctv.ca. So the Aussies are sending out 2000 troops to fight the Iraqi people. My bet on how many survive? 1500. Here are two really good Australia sites: www.touradelaide.com, and www.imagesaustralia.com. The Australian National Anthem, "Advance Australia Fair", is pretty cool, and so is the song by Slim Dusty(who is like the most famous singer in Australia), "Waltzing Matilda". Oh, and I found out what Alistair's middle name is. Donald. But don't tell anyone, Jeremy(and I mean you, Lott)because he really doesn't like it. Alistair Donald Young.
